On a stage embedded with hundreds of wooden bricks, the dancers inhabit a continuous loop of destruction and construction. In the shifting landscape, images surface \u2014 fragments that echo ruins, combat, and aftermaths \u2014 evoking scenes that inevitably recall wars and conflicts. While dealing with the conditions of ruins, the performers demonstrate the survival aspect inherent in the act of resistance.<\/h5><h5>Throughout the 60-minute piece, the three dancers in \u2018Body that stands\u2019 engage in simple acts of physical resistance \u2014 toward one another and the space itself. As they explore a range of responses to encounters with opposing forces, they experience moments of conflict, support, frustration, pain, and fantasy. Living through these brief fragments of reality, they constantly redefine their identities and states of being. As the piece unfolds, the three performers shape their sense of autonomy, causing the entire landscape to metamorphose. They continually reshape the meticulous wooden bricks scenography, using it to set boundaries, mark territories and convey messages. The experimental playground then transforms into a battlefield, a graveyard, an urban landscape, and more. Building, deconstructing, destroying, and reassembling, the performers examine the endurance of the human body in relation to that of inanimate materials, and the capacities of one body in relation to another. A graduate of the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, she is also certified in\nGaga, Gyrotonic, and Gyrokinesis, with a strong focus on individual movement language and\nphysical detail.<\/h5><h5>Her choreographic work has been presented internationally at festivals and venues such as\nSuzanne Dellal Centre (Tel Aviv), Machol Shalem Festival (Jerusalem), and DANCE WAVES\n(Cyprus). Since 2020, she has been creating and producing in Germany, with works including Peninsula-Flora, Hoomans, Grand Noir, Ken, and Body that Stands. She also choreographed Kamma for Gauthier Dance\u2019s Dying Swans Project.<\/h5><h5>Smadar\u2019s creations blend theatricality with deeply sensitive physical expression, often\nplacing the audience close to the performers and exploring the balance between\nindividuality and social belonging. Named one of tanz magazine\u2019s \u201c10 most promising dance\npioneers\u201d in 2023, she is currently part of the R\u00e9seau GRAND LUXE residency programme and receives multi-year support from the City of Stuttgart and the State of Baden-\nW\u00fcrttemberg.<\/h5><h5><strong>Bar Gonen<\/strong> was born in 1994 in Tel Aviv. Began her professional career as a contemporary\ndancer in 2015 in Israel, working with choreographers Sharon Vazanna and Maya Brinner. At\nthe same time, she studied the Ilan Lev Method (ILM) - a form of bodywork and movement\ntherapy.<\/h5><h5>In 2019 she graduated from Performact (Torres Vedras, Portugal). Since then, Bar has been\nworking as a freelance dancer based in Germany, collaborating with choreographers and\ntheaters such as Smadar Goshen, Berliner Ensemble (with choreographer Ted Stoffer), Eva\nBaumann, Joachim Schloemer, Maura Morales, Cutty Shells and Felix Ruckert, among\nothers.<\/h5><h5><br \/>In 2022 she co-created the duet \u201cAcoustic Resonance\u201d with circus artist Crispin Bade, which\npremiered at the CircusDanceFestival in Cologne. In 2023 she created her solo \u201cElusive\nMatter\u201d which was presented in different formats in Stuttgart, and in 2025 the solo \"Thinner\nSkin\" performed by Seung Hwan Lee as part of Solo Choreo in Stuttgart.<\/h5><h5><strong>Cordelia Eleonore Lange<\/strong> graduated from Codarts Rotterdam in 2008. She worked as a freelance dancer in\nGermany and the Netherlands, touring internationally with Gabriella Maiorino and Felix\nLanderer. She later joined Stadttheater Bielefeld and Staatstheater Oldenburg, collaborating\nwith choreographers such as Gregor Z\u00f6llig, Guy Weizman &amp; Roni Haver, Omar Rajeh, Iztok\nKova\u010d, Roberto Galvan, Ann Van den Broek, and Sharon Eyal. From 2013 to 2017, she was a member of the Inbal Pinto &amp; Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, performing worldwide and\nco-creating four original works. She also studied fashion design at Shenkar College.<\/h5><h5>Now based in Berlin, she works as a freelance dancer and costume designer for artists like\nNir de Volff, Ricardo Ambrozio, Chris J\u00e4ger, Constanza Macras, Helena Waldmann, Julia B.\nLaperri\u00e8re, and Smadar Goshen. In addition, she creates independent works and is a\ncertified therapist of the Ilan Lev Method.<\/h5><h5><strong>Zuki RingArt<\/strong> is a medium-fluid artist coming from dance and performance. Born in Haifa in 1991.\nHolder of the \u2018Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes\u2019 scholarship. Currently based in Berlin.\nHe received his dance training at MASPA (2013\u201315, Ga\u2019aton) and VIDP (2015\u201316,\nJerusalem), and later completed the B.A. program \u2018Dance, Context, Choreography\u2019 at HZT \u2013\nUDK Berlin (2019\u201322). Since 2015, Zuki has collaborated as a performer with various artists\nand choreographers, including Narges Kalhor, Moritz Majce, Anne-Lie Andre, Smadar\nGoshen, Iris Erez, Shlomit Fundaminsky, Uri Shafir, Anat Shamgar, Hila Ben-Ari, Anat\nDreamer, and others. In 2020, he began working as a dramaturg, collaborating with Johanna\nRyyn\u00e4nen on VIOLETTA, in analog (2025); with Or Askenazi on Moon (2023), And so, I have a relationship with the sun (2020); and with Rotem Weissman on AGADA (2022).\nZuki\u2019s first work, present | tense (2018), premiered at the From Jaffa to Agripas dance\nfestival in Jerusalem and was later presented on other stages in Israel.
